Inspired by friends who have undertaken to clog up the intertubes and the recent popularity of various animals even more grammatically challenged than myself, I am pleased to announce that now I, too, HAZ A BLOG.

The old order has changed since NCSA Mosaic and my first Home on the Web, but such is the way of things. The same subtle conceit that fuels my allergy to the notion of personal weblogs lived down in ~/public_html/ somewhere too. We were more like children then, and the world seemed younger, emptier, more inviting. For some, I suppose it still does. For some, I suppose it is.

I mark my ground again, though, as with a stake raised in the llano estacado. I was here…for a time.

Oh give me a home where my cell phone won’t roam,
Where the MPEG’s and MP3’s play,
Where no site would host and inflammatory post
And the modems aren’t busy all day.
